My name is Julian Elmasry. I am currently a sophomore at Stony Brook University and am declared as an Information Systems major. I have a passion for creating. At the moment I am learning Java & Web Development. The idea of creating a working program/website from absolutely nothing is incredible to me.
Stony Brook University(SBU)
In 2020 right when COVID hit for the first time, was just about the same time when I finished my senior year of highschool. I didn't apply to many schools but I had SBU as a reach school. I initially got waitlisted and after some time I was accepted for Computer Engineering. After completeing a semester of CE, I decided to switch to Information systems since I wanted to try development mixed with IT that way I could get the best of both worlds, Software and Hardware. After going through my first semester as an ISE major and taking my first Java course I am absolutely loving it and will continue to learn as much as I can in the field!
